How You Can Help Students feel calm, confident, and ready to do their best, we would appreciate your support with the following:
- Rest & Fuel: A good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast make a world of difference for focus.
- On-Time Arrival: Please ensure your child is at school on time so they don’t feel rushed and can start the morning with a settled mind.
- Encouragement & Focus: Please remind your child that these tests are important and an opportunity to show off their hard work. Discussing the importance of appropriate test-taking behavior—like staying quiet, focusing on their own screen, and taking their time—helps them stay in the right mindset.
- Water Bottles: Having a water bottle at their desk helps students stay hydrated and refreshed.
- Headphones: Please check with your child to see if their headphones are in good working order, as they will be needed for several parts of the test.
