What is Galileo GIVE Week and Why do we do it?

We are excited to announce that September 25-29, 2023, will be our 8th Annual Galileo GIVE Week! For those families that aren’t sure what this is or why we do it, here is a quick rundown. 

What is GIVE week? GIVE week is how we maximize and simplify fundraising efforts for all of us – students, parents, and staff. Volunteer-intensive fundraising is time-consuming and needlessly complicated with little reward. Instead of asking students or parents to sell items to family, friends, and coworkers, we are asking each family to make a meaningful monetary donation to the PTO during GIVE week.

Why do we do it? 100% of the money raised will stay at the school and support all the events, clubs, and classroom grants we provide throughout the year. Here’s what we need from you. In order to support our programs, we need to raise at least $35,000. Simply put, a donation of $50 per student enrolled at Galileo would get us to that goal. If we meet our goal, this will be our only fundraiser for the year.
