MathCounts

MATHCOUNTS is a journey into the depths of mathematical wonders, where young minds traverse through landscapes of numbers, conquering algebraic peaks and scaling geometric heights. It’s a realm where imagination knows no bounds, where numbers become the tools to create and innovate, to design the future and reshape the world.

So, if you’re a young mind with a thirst for mathematical adventure, if you’re ready to embark on a quest where numbers are your allies and equations your companions, then step into the realm of MATHCOUNTS. Prepare to be amazed, to be challenged, and to discover the limitless possibilities that lie within the world of mathematics.

At Galileo this group is an hour-long session of having fun with friends who enjoy math and learning some in the process! We spend the year preparing for the regional competition (which takes place in February at BSU). Attendance to the weekly practice sessions are optional. You can still compete in the school competition in January. Look for the information meeting in August/September.
