Students will continue to develop a deeper understanding of C coding language, program motors and servos, and strategically design, build, and program robots to perform specific tasks and challenges. The team runs September through April as they prepare for a Regional Botball Tournament with other Idaho Schools held in April. Students that excel have an opportunity to continue to strategize and practice as a team through mid-July and travel to participate in the Global Conference for Educational Robotics (GCER) and Botball competition held every July out of state.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHO:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>6th &#8211; 8th Grade students only. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHEN:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tuesday<\/strong> AFTER school from 4-5:30 pm in the elementary engineering classroom beginning on September 15th<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COST:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>$150 \/ per participant **<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ORGANIZERS:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"mailto:leonard.katie@westada.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mrs. Leonard<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Galileo Robotics Team is available to Middle School students.
