Congratulations to Galileo’s Junior and Senior Robotics Botball Teams!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, from September through mid-July, our robotics team worked tirelessly designing, building, coding, and fine-tuning autonomous robots to complete a variety of complex tasks and challenges. Their dedication, perseverance, and teamwork paid off in an incredible way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July, one Senior Robotics Botball team consisting of four teammates and one Junior Robotics Botball team member traveled to Oklahoma to compete at the Global Conference for Educational Robotics. There, they faced 47 teams of students ages 13 to 21 from more than a dozen countries around the world, including the United States, China, Austria, Poland, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galileo students delivered an outstanding performance on the international stage. In Junior Robotics, Kaladin Roberts earned First Place Overall<\/strong>. In Senior Robotics, team members Jaten Leonard, Jacelyn Leonard, Roman Roberts, and Louie George won the Best 3D Print Award<\/strong>, placed Third in the Double Elimination Rounds<\/strong>, and earned Second Place Overall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work, innovation, and commitment. They represented Galileo with excellence and demonstrated what can be achieved through creativity, collaboration, and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
