MEET THE MASTERS<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Galileo PTO runs an art program called “Meet the Masters”, in which volunteers go into the classroom to teach students about a master artist and conduct a step-by-step art project that mimics that artist’s style and composition. The “Meet the Masters” program provides a slide deck, talking points, and step-by-step instructions to teach our students about these master artists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking for two (or more) volunteers to be art parents in each of our classrooms this year. Mrs. Keeton and Ms. Unger’s classrooms in particular need volunteers.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

- You do not have to have ANY art experience (or talent) to help with this activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- The in-class time commitment is about 1.5 – 2 hours total per artist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- We teach 5 artists per year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- There is also 1 clay project per grade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
